
During the Expocafé 2025held in Três Pontas (MG), last Tuesday (27) saw the official launch of the National Coffee CircuitThe project aims to transform Brazil's coffee tradition into a tourist and cultural experience with national and international reach.
The circuit began with 51 municipalities in Minas Gerais and São Pauloall recognized for their strong links with coffee production and history. The route includes regions such as Alto Paranaíba, Southwest, South of Minas Gerais and cities in the state of São Paulo that border the state of Minas Gerais, reaching as far as the Port of Santos.
The launch took place in one of the fair's event tents and was attended by authorities and representatives from the agribusiness, tourism and culture sectors.
In an interview with EPTV, an affiliate of Rede Globo, Edgar Bessa, one of the creators of the project, explained that the The route's ground zero will be installed at the Dry Port in Três Pontas. He also pointed out that, as of June, an official website will be launched to register new municipalities interested in joining the circuit.
According to Bessa, the proposal is to unite tourist attractions, coffee estates, cultural spaces, gastronomic experiences and themed eventsThis strengthened the image of Brazilian coffee not only as an agricultural product, but also as a historical, cultural and sensory heritage.
Held at Três Pontas airportExpocafé brought together around 150 exhibitorsThe event focused on technology, agricultural mechanization and innovative solutions for coffee production. Approximately 20 thousand visitors over the three days of the program.
In addition to the exhibitions, the event promoted debates on technological advances, sustainability and market opportunities, consolidating its position as one of the main meetings of the coffee sector in Brazil.
